Okay, so I'm addicted (much like every other 30-something girl) to Pinterest.  I've actually had some small success with projects that I've found there.

iPad Bean Bag

Tonight I decided that I just couldn't live another second with not having something to lean my iPad (which I'm also addicted to) up against.  I had pinned a great idea several weeks ago but finally decided I needed to dust off my sewing machine and get started...

Here's MY finished project.

It took me about 3 hours, mostly because I was watching "Days of Our Lives" while I was sewing and had to keep stopping because I suck at multitasking.

End result is that I'm super, super happy because it's uber, uber cute!



Earbud Wrap

I saw a couple of posts on Pinterest showing earbuds wrapped in embroidery floss using a friendship bracelet knot known as the Chinese Staircase.  Not only did it look cool but it stopped my earbuds from turning themselves into an origami hot mess in my bag.

After I saw the tutorial from Kiss Me Awake I knew this was something I simply must do.

It cost about $3.00 in floss from Hobby Lobby and took about 5 hours (while watching assorted movies and being distracted.)
